Talbot Place, Ballarat Aged Care

Talbot Place is a modern, spacious 30 bed aged care home in Ballarat, centrally located on the Queen Elizabeth Centre site in Dana Street.

Open and welcoming, the building features skylights throughout that provide an abundance of natural light and large windows that look out to the two secure courtyards and raised vegetable garden that residents can enjoy.

The home is divided into two wings, each with its own comfortable living spaces for a homely feel.
Each wing features:
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Lounges with flat screen TVs and DVD players
- Activities area for the many social activities and events that take place throughout the week

Talbot House offers 14 single rooms, each with its own ensuite, and 8 double rooms with shared ensuites. Our double rooms are perfect for couples and are often enjoyed by individuals who form the closest of bonds and friendships with their ‘room mate’.

Each room looks out onto the gardens and residents are encouraged to personalise their space with small furniture items, soft furnishings, photographs and mementos from home to make their room their own.

All rooms include
- Electric, height adjustable bed (sensor mats available where required)
- Telephone line available
- TV antenna
- Nurse call bell (bedside and bathroom)
